Student Support and Scholarships: This committee oversees current L&Q financial support of award-winning students and of the School's four student groups, as well as L&Q's own extensive scholarship and awards programs. By providing over $100,000 annually in scholarships, Ledger & Quill directly participates in attracting top students to DePaul, especially as regards the objectives
and goals of L&Q’s scholarship and award programs within newly-emerging
context of university student recruiting and retention efforts.
Alumni Relations and Communications: This committee
explores new means and channels of increasing L&Q membership, and to explore the further development of possible
"subset" groups, such as New Alums, Scholarship Alumni, Strobel Scholars Alumni, and others, to attract new members. It also oversees our current L&Q membership and marketing communications, newslettter and website, and
conducts periodic membership surveys. Ledger & Quill serves as a gateway to greater participation with DePaul and the DePaul Alumni Association.
Student Relations and Communications: Similar to the Alumni Relations and Commmunications committee, this group works to keep L&Q visibility high among our accounting students, and provide what services and enhancements it can. It also explores new and innovative ways for L&Q to directly support, assist and further enhance DePaul students' professional acounting education.
Conference Committee: This committee plans and implements Ledger & Quill's practitioner conferences, when offered.
