Success Through Scholarship

The Success Through Scholarship Educational Fund at DePaul University’s School of Accountancy and MIS represents the culmination of the efforts of prominent DePaul friends and alumni who envisioned this permanent educational resource and provided its initial and sustaining funding: Ernst & Young Alumni Distinguished Professor Belverd E. Needles, University Trustee William B. Snow, University Lifetime Trustee Ernest R. Wish, and Ledger & Quill Board member Gerald A. Beeson.

Vincentian in spirit, "Success" is an ongoing efort by individuals and organizations to assure that the opportunity for a high quality professional accounting education is never out of reach for deserving students.

And as Vincentian in practice, "Success" harnesses the energies and resources of major funding partners, including members of the School of Accountancy alumni organization Ledger & Quill, the Illinois CPA Society and the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois, and DePaul University itself.

Through generous matching programs offered by Ledger & Quill and university president Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider, C.M., all contributions are matched 3 to 1. Few educational support programs can match "Success" in creativity, synergy, and effectiveness.
