About Ledger & Quill

Ledger & Quill (L&Q) is the friends and alumni support organization of the undergraduate and graduate programs at the DePaul University School of Accountancy and Management Information Systems. Established in 1972, it stands today as one of the largest accounting alumni groups in the nation, with membership numbering close to 2,000.

L&Q serves DePaul by providing resources necessary to continue the School’s development as a preeminent institution. Through the generosity of its members, L&Q provides annually approximately $200,000 in scholarships and awards,  the L&Q Alumni Distinguished Professorship,  the L&Q Research Professorship, general support of the School’s five student groups, technological capabilities and development, and sponsors or co-sponsors the School's special programs and activities. L&Q also hosts social events for members and friends, produces a biannual newsletter, and this website. Ledger & Quill membership is open to anyone who shares our goals and wishes to contribute to Ledger & Quill or the School.

Ledger & Quill is governed by a Board, which meets bi-annually to review and oversee its programs and activities, finances and the implementation of its long-range plans. An Executive Committee meets monthly or more to administer the organization's programs and activities.
