L&Q Member Activities
Fall Luncheon
The annual Ledger & Quill Fall Luncheon, traditionally held in mid-November, is one of DePaul's largest alumni events, and begins the year with awards and scholarship presentations, brief L&Q and School of Accountancy reports and the organization's goals for the year.
Reception-on-the-Lake
Since 2006, the Ledger & Quill Reception-on-the-Lake has closed out the L&Q year with a casual member party, awards presentations and welcomes the latest graduating class to membership, while cruising on our magnificent lake and enjoying sun, breezes, and good fellowship.
Summer Reunion
The Ledger & Quill Summer Reunion is held in conjunction with the annual Midwest Accounting and Finance Showcase of the Illinois CPA Society, traditionally in late August, and attracts show-goers for a buffet luncheon for L&Q members and DePaul alumni.
Student-Alumni Networks
Ledger & Quill sponsors occasional and very casual student events, enabling DePaul accounting majors the opportunity to learn more about the profession from L&Q members participating in the event. New for 2009: a Young Alumni Committee, looking for ways to increase membership benefits for newer accounting alums.
