Internship and Job Opportunities

The School provides its students with three types of internship opportunities:

"open"
firm sponsored programs, and
Accounting 393, Internship in Accounting.

Firms very frequently offer part-time jobs and internships to DePaul students, and the School posts in the School offices all current offers, with requirements and information for each. These are considered "open" internships. The School posts all positions immediately, and the School's Internships listing appears on this webpage.

Sponsored programs provide ongoing internship opportunities for DePaul students The programs include an application and application period, interviews, and final selections by the sponsoring firms. Some provide scholarship awards in addition to the internship. Abbott Laboratories, Deloitte & Touche, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and KPMG sponsor ongoing internship programs with the School of Accountancy.

Accounting 393 Internship in Accounting is a four credit hour course in which the internship duties are closely correlated with classroom instruction. Acct. 393 is limited to certain students working for certain firms, and is offered winter and summer quarters only.
