C.P.A. REVIEW
Overview
The CPA Review is one of many quality programs offered through the School of Accountancy at DePaul University. The comprehensive Review has helped thousands of CPA candidates become Certified Public Accountants for over 50 years.
The Review is designed to reflect the contact and style of the computer-based exam. There are four courses which correspond to the four sections of the exam: Auditing & Attestation (AUD), Business Environment and Concepts (BEC), Financial Accounting & Reporting (FAR) and Regulation (REG). The Review consists of live instruction by faculty who specialize in the topics they teach. In addition, each course contains a Computer-Based Testing (CBT) session which focuses on database simulation and research practice.
Courses
ACC 364: Regulation (REG): Topics include federal taxation, ethics, professional and legal responsibilities, and business law.
ACC 365: Auditing & Attestation (AUD): Topics include generally accepted auditing procedures, generally accepted auditing standards and other standards related to attest engagements.
ACC 366: Financial Accounting & Reporting (FAR): Topics include generally accepted accounting principles for business enterprises, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental entities.
ACC 367: Business Environment & Concepts (BEC): Topics include general business environment and business concepts that candidates need to know in order to understand the underlying business reasons for and accounting implications of business transactions.
Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9pm at the Loop Campus.
