Graduate Assistantships
In order to recruit the best graduate students for the School of Accountancy, the School makes available graduate assistantships. These assistantships include:
- Tuition waiver for up to three course per quarter (to a maximum of nine)
- Stipend/salary, currently set at $4,100/academic year
- Opportunity to work with prominent researchers in the School's faculty in many areas of accounting and MIS research
Graduate assistants are expected to commit twenty hours a week to School-based service, including assisting faculty in their research and/or tutoring students in the School's Tutorial Center.
Certain restrictions apply, and graduate assistantships are to be considered full-time obligations, due to the amount of coursework and the 20-hour a week requirement.
Students in any graduate degree programs are eligible: M.S.A., M.S.T., M.B.A./Managerial Accounting, M.B.A./MIS, as well as those seeking degrees in any commerce discipline. Students must be admitted to the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
If you are interested in the program and have any questions, please take a look at our FAQs.
